WOO!!!!!!! SILVER MEDAL!!!!!!!

we got a silver! went unbeaten in the round-robin, to rank 3rd out of 16 teams, with the top 8 advancing. after the quarter-finals (which we won 7-3) we were going up against the second ranked team. after going down 3-0 after four ends (half-time) we came back and scored 4 points, with the game becoming tied going into the last end. we had to steal a point to win, and with their last rock missing, we scored two to win and go to the finals, where we would play the 5th ranked team. we beat them in the round robin. going into the last end, we were up two, but on our last shot, we missed, which allowed them to score 3 and win, 6-5. of course, those two shots were the only ones that were televised.

after suffering through the defeat for a while, we looked back as a team on what our goals were at the beginning of the year. we were simply hoping to make it to the Jeux de Quebec, and once we got there, we were happy, but to go out and get the silver was beyond what we thought we would do. many pictures were taken, and some shall be posted up here for you people to see.

the whole experience was simply great, and it was tons of fun for everybody. i wouldnt change anything about it, since it was just amazing. i will try to get some photos scanned at some point. until then, thanks for reading!
